Healing Voices - part II
Healing Voice is a 10-episode audio drama following the lives of Emerta and Lulit, two Ari women of southern Ethiopia, where so many suffer from this tragedy.
Emerta is a mature woman, broken by circumstances that have taken the lives of her husband and only daughter. Through this experience, God impacts her life. Emerta becomes a lifeline to young Lulit, who is suffering from a fistula. The literal journey of these two women through the episodes takes them from their village, past jeering, uncompassionate people, to the Addis Ababa Fistula hospital for surgery – and healing, both physically and spiritually.
The episodes are designed not only to answer questions but also to walk women through the process of choosing God’s worldview, which is healthy and life-giving. It will inform, educate, and raise awareness. Its format and content are designed especially for oral learners. Healing Voice will be placed on handheld devices and distributed to women all over Ethiopia.
