Working in Tandem (Intern Insights)

In my short time as a Project Hannah intern, I read many Women of Hope testimonies from males and females alike who the programs have affected. People everywhere are tuning in and having transformative experiences as God uses these audio programs to speak truth in to their lives. The relatable broadcasts focus on a number of different physical, mental, and most importantly, spiritual issues that females may face. When listening, women hear advice and experience encouragement knowing they aren’t alone in their daily struggles.

In some places, religious persecution is so fervent that it’s close to impossible for a missionary to reach people there. But radio waves can pierce any boundary and preach the Gospel where feet are not able to go. If women can find a way to listen, God can do the rest. He allows Project Hannah and their programs to touch lives for Christ in even the remotest places on earth.

But the widespread scope of this ministry didn’t happen overnight. It took work, dedication to spreading the Gospel, and prayer. Prayer and Women of Hope go hand in hand; you can’t have one without the other.

A Project Hannah coordinator in Ghana says, “We believe that as we pray, women around the world will receive encouragement and support and find needed help. Through committed prayer, our ministry can reach new heights and together we can help others find life transforming power with their Maker.”

So join me today as we pray and ask God that Women of Hope would continue to grow, encourage listeners, and bring innumerable lives to Jesus for years to come.
