The Heart and Power of the Woman Who Prays
During Project Hannah’s Annual 40-Day Season of Prayer and Fasting in 2009, the Project Hannah Angola team held conferences from October 1st through November 9th. The time was opened by a day of fasting at Alice’s home (the Project Hannah Coordinator for Angola). The theme of the conferences was “The Heart and the Power of the Woman Who Prays.” During the conferences, an emphasis was placed on helping each woman to have a holy heart and to live according to God’s will.
The closing ceremony for the 40-Day Season was held on November 11, 2009 with 209 ladies and three men attending. How did God move in the hearts of women because of the times they set aside to pray and seek him together? During the closing ceremony, more than 100 ladies committed anew to walk in holiness before God and ten ladies surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, trusting him for salvation for the first time.
