Our Lord is Jehovah Jireh and Jehovah Shammah! To him alone be the glory.
All our church sisters met last Sunday and we shared your prayer calendar with them.
Here are some prayer concerns for which we need God's intervention:
1 Please pray for healing of African refugee women and children in the USA that have been traumatized by sexual abuse and war experiences in their countries of origin.
2 Please pray for African refugee women and children to victoriously face the socio-economic and cultural conditions in the US. (Many of them are more traumatized here than they were in Africa; mainly those who come from non-English speaking African countries).
3 Please pray for African refugee women and children to easily navigate with education. (Many cannot study for many reasons and yet many of their children drop studies due to many challenges).
4 Please pray for the end of the cycle of domestic violence in African refugee migrant households in the US.
5) Please pray for the African women and children in the Educational and Pastoral Group that is run by the American University Baptist and International Ministry and Salem Gospel Ministries to aptly assist African refugee women and children who are facing various challenges in this Washington Metropolitan area.
6 Please pray for the forthcoming African Refugee/Migrant retreat that is scheduled for March 11 to March 13.
May the Lord keep on using you for the expansion of his kingdom.
