We sent out an urgent prayer request two weeks ago for a woman we are affiliated with who was arrested for her faith. We know now she has been released from prison but is under house arrest. She is being watched by her brother and forced to read the Koran all day. Food and water are limited and she cannot communicate with anyone. This will likely continue for several months.
House Churches Raided
Closely related to this woman's arrest, five other house churches were raided and 16 people arrested. Cell phones, computers, Christian books, and many other items were taken. We have learned that the women must report to the secret police each morning and have been interrogated for many hours each day. Two of the men have been released, we are unsure where one of the remaining men is being held. None of them have denied their faith as far as we know.
