I earnestly request your prayers for the Kim family.
JuYoung Kim, the eldest son of Rev. ChangYoung Kim, has passed away on 28 December 2014 in the USA by car accident at the age of 19. Rev. Kim is the director of TWR Korea, which broadcasts the gospel to North Korea.
Rev. Kim also serves as the Producer of the "Women of Hope" program.
1. Rev. Kim and his wife (Mrs. InJa Chung) have departed for USA on 30 December 2014. Miss. JooEun Kim, a sister of the late Mr. Kim, is also on her way to the funeral from another state in the USA. The four family members plan to leave the USA on 4 January 2015. We pray God to be there with the family through all the processes and their way back home.
2. Please pray for Rev. Kim's mother. She lost her second son several years ago to acute liver cancer, while he was serving as a missionary in Africa. Recently, her second daughter has been hospitalized for liver hardening. We pray God will help her to endure all these tragedies.
3. Please pray for the HwaSung New Central Church. Their whole church is mourning in distress for the late Mr. Kim, whom they had known since his childhood. We pray God will help the church to overcome the tragic news with firm faith in God.
4. Please pray for Rev. Boaz Seong (HoonKyung Seong), who is going to minister the HwaSung New Central Church while Rev. Kim is absent. Rev. Seong will lead the New Year’s Eve service on 31 December 2014, Friday prayer service on 2 January 2015, Sunday service on 4 January 2015, Wednesday service on 7 January 2015, and another Friday prayer service on 9 January 2015.
