In Vienna thousands of people work in prostitution. Most come from Eastern Europe, Nigeria and other parts of the world.
Herzwerk (Heart Factory) is an initiative for people in prostitution. The staff and volunteers are motivated by God’s heart, which beats for the victims of injustice. Elke, who has been working on the Hidden Treasures initiative with Marli and others, works in Herzwerk .
During the Christmas time Heart Factory’s staff and volunteers deliver hundreds of small Christmas presents: a package of cookies decorated with Christmas ribbons.
Next week some of my colleagues and I are going to bake cookies. Our goal is to make 150 packages of five cookies each to help Herzwerk’s as they try to reach around 800 women.
Please pray that this small gift of kindness will open the door to show these desperate women that God loves them and would like to give their lives meaning and purpose.
