As we commemorate 20 years since the genocide in Rwanda:
Please pray for widows and young women who were raped during the genocide and who suffer from HIV/. Pray that they will experience the healing power of Jesus Christ spiritually and find new hope as a source of peace and love and toward others.
Please pray for young women and girls who become prostitutes because of trauma in their lives. Pray that they will recognize that God is a father to the fatherless. Pray that they will experience the true love of Jesus Christ and help in finding an alternative occupation.
Pray for women who cannot handle the marriage because of the trauma of being raped. Pray that they will receive care from their husbands and receive social and psychological help in the love of Jesus Christ.
Pray for young girls who became rebellion because their parents divorced or there are problems in their families. Pray that they will receive the mercy of God and get care and recognized their identity as children of God.
Pray for women whose husbands were involved in killing during the genocide and who are in prison. Pray that their husbands too will experience salvation under the cross, grace, and love of God.
