When I was 8 years old, I began begging in the streets. My family was very poor. My father was alcoholic. My mother was sick and she had to take care of me and of my two little brothers. At that time, someone invited us to a church. For the first time I felt loved.
When I was 13 I began working as a cleaning lady. With the money that I earned we could buy food.
At the age of 16 I got married and gave birth to two children. Now I am raising my children alone because I am divorced.
A friend of mine gave me a solar radio and I began listening to it. It was like the Lord found me again. I like the Word of God.
I do not know how to write or to read. So thank you for the radio.
My deepest desire is to be in touch with the Lord and to know what to do with my life.
The 'Women of Hope' program has helped me when I felt lonely and very desperate. Thank you for this program.
