We are so thankful to update you all that we got great news about Katelyn this evening! The preliminary pathology on the tumor came back as a stage 1 cancerous tumor with NO spread anywhere, completely contained in a capsule in her pelvis. The surgeon took it all out intact. She will not need any further treatment! She will be followed up closely every 3 months for the first 2 years. Over 70% of these tumors do not recur! If they do, they are very sensitive to chemo and very treatable. So, she needs to continue to recover from the surgery and she should be good to go! PTL!!! Thank you Lord for being so good to us!!!
