Peggy's Message

January 2011

My dear intercessor and friend,

I will never forget a woman in her fifties I met in Central Asia. Weeping she asked me, “Marli, where are my babies? I aborted them long ago, but I still hear their voices when I close my eyes in the night.” Can you feel the anguish in her words? Her guilt, regret and grief for taking the easy way out from the inconvenient bundle of “tissue,” as the abortionists referred to it,  is a feeling shared by millions of women. Although abortion is legal in many countries, the events leading up to it and the act itself results in long-lasting physical and mental health problems. Its legalization does not give an alternative for the hole left in women’s soul. There’s no healing and no hope.

My friend found peace with her past. She received forgiveness and healing in Jesus. He restored her lost dignity. She experienced the reality of Isaiah 53:5, which says “… He (Jesus) was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.” This gives me hope to continue encouraging you to pray with confidence and expectant faith that God will put an end to this terrible evil – the killing of innocent unborn babies. Let’s ask God to give his mercy and healing to these precious women.

Also, please praise God for Project Hannah’s significant breakthroughs in 2010. Women of Hope is now on the air in 58 languages, and there are new programs in development! We have also developed partnerships with Campus Crusade, Story Runners and Life Now-Living Hope. Additionally, a Hannah’s House for immigrant women opened in Sweden; we now have a new interactive website and my new book When Hope Wins was published. We also have new outreach through social media. Finally, we are now narrowcasting programs in remote Vietnamese villages, and in European prison cells. Praise the Lord!

Thank you for praying for me as I ministered in Africa, Latin America, the USA and Canada. I am so grateful for the experience of a life time I had attending the Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization in Africa. Thank you also for your sacrificial support in prayer and giving to Project Hannah. You are a vital part of what we do around the world. God will reward your love; I know he will!

Someone once said that “missions are not done with money, but with VISION!” Please pray for an even greater army of visionary intercessors and supporters, as well as for an abundant harvest of women wonderfully transformed by his grace in 2011.

In his love,
