Dear praying friend,

Today, while explaining Project Hannah’s Prayer Movement to a friend, I was moved to tears thinking of the vastness of it all – a sea of intercessors stretching from one continent to another. I thought about the bended knees… Hearts and voices lifted up in 79 languages! All day long, a wave of prayer is circling the globe 24/7. You and I are lending our voices to those who do not have a voice or prayer to say for themselves. I love to think of this mighty choir of 40,000 plus voices echoing in God’s throne interceding on behalf of women around the world.  You are, indeed, a vital link in this powerful, unbroken circle of prayer that is moving God’s mighty arm in their favor!

For 15 years I have continued encouraging friends like you, because the work is far from done! As you can see in our prayer calendar’s awareness page women’s needs are unfathomable! Besides, Project Hannah’s teams worldwide need strength, wisdom, and God’s compassion not to become jaded by their suffering in the process. These things can’t be found or bought anywhere. These are treasures in God’s heart. And intercessory prayer is the “currency” to obtain these indispensable virtues so that we can embody Christ’s message to the hurting world around us.

So, my friend, let’s never give up. The part you play in this ministry is invaluable! And we know that prayer has the power to make us “world changers!” Prayer changes women’s hearts, and families, and even their eternal destiny – from darkness to the Light; their tears of sorrow into tears of joy; their losses into eternal gain.  Amazing!  James was right!  “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16).

I pray you’ll be energized to “keep standing on your knees,” even when the prayer requests seem too distant and difficult to handle. I pray that as you do so, you will know the joy of connecting women’s hearts and needs to God’s all-sufficiency source, which is Christ Jesus!

So, dear friend, welcome to the choir! Let’s speak blessings while engage in spiritual warfare for women around the world this month of October.
