Peggy's Message

July 2013

There are no words to express how thankful I am for your prayers, not only for me personally as I traveled throughout Europe lately but even more so for Project Hannah’s ministry worldwide. When I think of thousands of intercessors knocking on Heaven’s door as they pray daily through our prayer calendar, I think of the four men breaking the roof of a house where Jesus was. The house was too full. They could not take their paralytic friend through the door, so they opened a hole in the roof and lowered him down to Jesus’ feet! Their friend needed Jesus. So they did not look at the impossibilities; they just took an unorthodox approach to “compassion in action.” They created a holy interruption during that house-church service. Jesus honored their determination. Mark 2:5 says that when Jesus saw “THEIR” faith – he healed the paralytic.

Jesus will honor our faith as we pray this month for millions of women and girls trapped in sex slavery. Like the four men, we might need an unorthodox approach to compassion in action and have to break down the roof of our unbelief when we see the impossibilities of this task. But like them, we press on. Unorthodox compassion will take us to the defender of the weak, the great liberator of the oppressed.

On my travels lately, I heard story after story about the blessings received as people prayed.  I shed tears of joy listening to testimonies about our faithful, prayer-answering God.  He is ready to rescue.  He is eager to listen to our voices – just like you and I are ready and delighted to hear our children’s voices speaking to us.

It was amazing to see God glorified among us, our teams encouraged, and our intercessors inspired.  Women are learning how unbelievable they are in God’s eyes.  New prayer groups are forming.  A group of teenagers came to learn how to best pray for women at risk. They decided to form the first Project Hannah Junior prayer group in Germany.  They are ready to stand on the roof and lower to Jesus’ feet these dear women described in our prayer calendar. Are we also ready through our radical prayers to bring before Jesus millions of sex slaves seeking biblical justice?

Jesus will see our faith – even if it is the size of a mustard seed – and he will deliver. And heal. And restore the dignity of these tragically broken women.

Blessing you with Isaiah 58:11.
