Peggy's Message

February 2011

My dear friends,

My heart is filled with gratitude to you for joining us in the greatest work a human being can do – to pray! God will reward you for that. I want to especially thank our new intercessors. May we all persevere with expectant faith knowing that our voices, passion and faith in God will resound in heaven. Our words will be interpreted by the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:26, 27), and our requests will be defended by our divine advocate, Jesus Christ (1 John 2:1). Our petitions will touch God’s heart and help the deliverance of women worldwide (Isaiah 59:1). Just imagine, thousands of intercessors in over 100 nations praying in unison, using Project Hannah’s prayer calendar in a powerful wave of prayer circling the globe. When prayers cease in the west, an army of prayer warriors in the east begin their morning, picking up just where the others left off. It reminds me of the watchmen of Isaiah 62:6, 7, "...they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give HIM no rest…" It amazes me that he actually wants us to give him no rest. He delights in blessing the work of our hands. All over the world, Project Hannah teams are reaping the results of our prayers; scores of women rescued from darkness and death, to light and life! This is the HOPE we spread around the world! It is all worth it!

Let’s "give God NO rest" and pray for great miracles in Ukraine and Russia where 90 percent of marriages end in divorce and every second child is being raised by a step-parent. Pray for the end of human trafficking, poverty, alcoholism, domestic violence and hopelessness. Pray that governments and the Church will take a bold and sacrificial stand to restore the moral and spiritual fiber of these nations. Pray for the Women of Hope programs, as well as for prayer groups to continue to multiply as catalysts of change, salvation and healing for millions of precious Russian and Ukrainian women. know that even a mustard seed-size-faith can move mountains.

Remember: "Prayer is the greater work!"
