"When Hope Wins" 10 Real Life Stories of Transforming Grace

See how the Lord, through TWR’s Project Hannah ministry, has reached into the broken and persecuted lives of many women from around the globe and proclaimed life and hope. Discover how Christ radically transforms, strengthens and redeems these women from a world starving for something more. Encourage others to join TWR in leading people from doubt to decision to discipleship by providing them a copy of this powerful book filled with specific accounts of God’s love saving women from living in darkness.

Written by longtime TWR missionary Marli Spieker, “When Hope Wins” is a proclamation of the Lord’s transforming work through Project Hannah everywhere TWR speaks the hope of God. It is a reminder of His power to overcome the pain of abuse, the injustice of slavery, the seeming hopelessness of isolation.

As founder of and global ministry director for Project Hannah, Spieker is an authority on the plight of women worldwide, traveling extensively to advocate for their needs. Most chapters in “When Hope Wins” tell the stories of women Marli has met personally. All stories testify of Christ’s victory—He conquers all, and when hope wins, there is restoration and healing, love and life, truth and grace.

Excerpt from “When Hope Wins”

“I was in awe of God’s goodness. I had expected judgment, or at best a discussion on how to reach other victims of child abuse. I had not expected to see women who seemingly ‘had it all together’ in tears and seeking healing for their own brokenness. Here was God using my scars, while shattering the myth that missionaries are ‘superheroes’ who always live perfect lives. I had just revealed my weakness and pain and God used it for His glory. He never forgets our scars; they are precious to Him. All I could do that week was hold out my hands, with gratefulness in my heart, to catch the blessings!”
